AFTER HOURS CARE:
Typically, Dr. Efrain Garcia takes his own call on weeknights and every other weekend, insuring a very personal level of care to the office patients. During weekends off a covering doctor will answer the calls from Friday at 5 p.m. until Monday at 9 a.m.
In case of an EMERGENCY:
If you are experiencing severe shortness of breath, chest pain, uncontrollable bleeding, or any other medical emergency situation, please call 911 or direct yourself directly to Mercy Hospital Emergency Room. Please call the office when you are on the way to the emergency room and notify Dr. Garcia or the physician on call. Once you reach the emergency room please identify yourself as a patient of Dr. Efrain Garcia so we can be notified once you reach the emergency room. Should hospitalization be needed, Dr. Efrain Garcia can only admit you to Mercy Hospital. If you are ever hospitalized by another specialist, or at another institution, please contact our office so we can keep up-to-date with your health status.
